MI5: Look Out! - the real-life spooks are about!                            17 April 2008

 

Journalists from all around the country will be converging on an old stately home near Nottingham next week in order to crack codes, dismantle 'dirty' bombs, track down suspects and generally attempt  to beat the bad guys at their own game!

 

Former Police Detective Andrew Greenslade, currently SKY TV's  in-house cop answering questions from the public on the crime and investigation network website, will be hosting the launch of what promises to be an exciting and fascinating glimpse, for companies and individuals, into the shady world of the espionage agent.

 

We'll keep you posted on how it goes, but perhaps, if we tell you too much, we might have to shoot you!

Crime Advisor for DVD releases of 'The Changling' and 'The Strangers'

Andrew Greenslade has been commissioned by top London PR company Cohn & Wolfe to provide post production crime advice to illustrate and examine many aspects of crime detection work, including forensic investigation and the thought processes of serial killers, in preparation for the forthcoming DVD releases of 'The Changling' starring Angelina Jolia and 'The Strangers' which is based on the Charles Mason killings.

Andrew Greenslade becomes a Guest Writer for Crimestoppers             Sept 2009

 

With a brand new article enttled 'Be Safe, Stay Safe'  SKY TV's resident detective Andrew Greenslade has become Crimestoppers' latest guest writer.  His first article has been very well received with a view to Crimestoppers now providing further effective means for crime prevention including making it much less likely that you will become a victim of crime by following the straightforward, straight-talking advice given.

Andrew Greenslade has joined the Northern Area Board of Directors of Crimestoppers UK. He celebrated the occasion by attending the annual Crimestoppers dinner at New Scotland Yard, hosted by Lord Ashcroft, where he met up with many old friends from his prevous life as a police detective.  During the event he visited the infamous 'Black Museum', situated within the bowels of New Scotland Yard, which contains many fascinating exhibits from the Met Police history of crime detection ranging from the cooker on which killer and cannibal Denis Nilsen prepared his victims, to the revolver which Ruth Ellis used to shoot and kill her racing driver lover David Blakely.  Ellis was the last woman to be executed in the UK (1955)

M.D. Becomes 'Senior Observer' for the IAM                                             Dec 2010

 

At tonight's group meeting of the Lincoln Advanced Motorists, Andrew Greenslade was presented with his Test Pass Certificate becoming a 'Senior Observer' for the Institute of Advanced Motorists.  The award was presented by Group Chair Ken Green.  Having also obtained 'Observer' status for motorcycles he is now awaiting a test date to be examined whilst driving commercial vehicles ('Blue Badge')  Success in this endeavour would give him a rare 'Full Set' of IAM Advanced Driver/Rider Qualifications, i.e. RED (Car), GREEN (Motorcycle) and BLUE (Commercial) Badge Awards!
