Ref: Greenslade Business Consultants Ltd - Investigations Training Programme
I write to express the Commercial Team’s thanks for the brilliant training provided by you and your team. In 33 years of working in Environmental Health I have never seen trainees so engaged, nor have I enjoyed such effective training– why have I had to wait so long?
There are insufficient superlatives to describe the impact of your training on the team. You methods are inspirational, turning a potentially dry enforcement issue into something juicy and fruity - leaving all wanting more and keen to put what they have learnt into practice. I have included a mind map that summarises the training and its impact on the team.
A most unexpected benefit of the training has been the synergistic impact on the team itself. Not only has individual confidence been boosted, most noticeably there has been a tangible increase in team bonding as a result of this training that will produce benefits way beyond the more direct outcomes of the training itself.
Reflecting on my own experiences, the training was second to none. Prior to the programme I believed I had a professional approach to interviews. As with the best training, it made me aware of my limitations and then equipped me with state of the art skills!
Thank you again for a most enjoyable and effective training programme. I do hope that we will be able to enjoy future training with you.

About Us
Di Stirling-Chow B.Sc(Hons)
Our Director of Services has an extensive history of working in public and third sector services from frontline involvement work with vulnerable and hard to reach groups to working as a senior manager and director for a local authority. As a public and voluntary sector worker as well as a consultant for a number of years Di has amassed a large number of dinner table anecdotes so is always worth inviting as a public speaker (just in case the memoirs never get finished!).
Di is also a published author and is working on two current book projects for
Di has never met a member of the Royal Family but did manage to watch three of their weddings and a funeral on TV so feels a level of affinity with Andrew’s former role. As an Astrologer, qualified Reiki healer and Tarot reader with 20 years experience (and now a trainee hypnotherapist) she and Andrew do have a number of areas in common – including training on equality and diversity where they offer an interesting overlap on areas where you wouldn’t always expect the police and the voluntary sector to come together.
For the public and third sectors Di specialises in areas that impact on the lives, involvement and housing of those who are vulnerable or marginalised including older people, those who are homeless and other people eligible for Supporting People services. Di is currently looking at the ways in which Supporting People and the £1.7 billion attached to it will filter into Local Area Agreements and Area Based Grants. Across all sectors Di carries out mock reviews and inspections at all levels, works on performance management and staff appraisal & recruitment issues and spends time making sure that her risk and project management work is top notch.
An experienced senior interim manager, Di spends a lot of the time ‘hitting the ground running’ which Andrew says is a dangerous pastime and a scary thought for a woman with a large Rottweiler and skill with a longbow, but such is life!
